The universal person is big and bold, and unafraid to explore negations of its nature. Consciousness eternal can never be diminished or extinguished. It is utterly fearless, radically open, and tirelessly curious. Any venture made by any of its manifested aspects is fascinating above all! For those who live in ignorance of the true self, and are God-fearing, pounding dogmas of sin, judgment and punishment can obscure – but never stop – what is obvious to any baby: everything is amazing. The exploration of denial and the experience of suffering are not transgressions of the divine plan, but part of it. This universe is a vast experiment in freedom of choice, backed by the unlimited creative power of the true self. The negation of the true self is an experience that the true self wishes to have! Those who deny the true self serve its purposes no less than those who allow the true self. Unlimited freedom of choice in our thought and experience is given to us. Who can say that a benighted soul won't now choose illumination, or that an enlightened soul won't now choose the darkness? Who dares to second-guess our true self as it pursues the divine vision for this universe through the choices of every incarnate form?
