The worlds are formed as spherical theatres of life. Each planet is uniquely conceived to furnish each being with a domain appropriate to its desire. Beings with complementary desires come together to inhabit a world and play out their self-appointed roles in the drama of universal unfoldment. Just as beings with complementary desires attract one another to fill a world stage for the most engaging performances, so worlds with complementary purposes are linked to weave together the diverse narratives of universal life.

This universe has its outer realms, which are grosser and resultant, and its inner realms, which are subtler and generative. The outer realms hold worlds that are more of effect than cause, while the inner realms hold worlds that are more of cause than effect. Worlds of the inner realms generate worlds of the outer realms, just as creatures of the inner realms sponsor creatures of the outer realms. Each world is not only tied by gravity to the other worlds of its realm; each world is also tied by cause and effect to other worlds in other realms. Thus lineages of worlds run through the nested realms of this universe.

Worlds of different realms that are linked through cause and effect enjoy a profound affinity and an active resonance, like the parents and children of a family. When the creatures of an outer world call upon its sponsoring inner world, the creatures of that inner world will vigorously respond...
