Money is a matter of great concern to people during their long celestial night.

They seek and spend it, study it and dream of it, as if it were a substance as precious as their own blood. In darkness, people deny the power within and put themselves below powers without. They will not credit their innate power to create their reality, and leave themselves to struggle for survival and gratification in the world around their separated selves. Money to them is a power without that can remedy the emptiness within. So money stands before a destitute people as the towering temple of its self-abandonment.

Things in abundance are freely given, whereas things in scarcity are hoarded, rationed and fought over. Any stable order of separation depends greatly on accounting, since there can never be enough of things for everyone to feel fulfilled, or indeed for anyone to feel fulfilled. Each one must keep track of what he can claim from others, and what he is obliged to provide others, in the struggle to get enough and not be cold and hungry, or die... People become avid about wealth, seeing God in it while refusing to see God in themselves...

But when celestial daylight returns to a darkened world, people nevertheless remember the power within. Then they are freed to create and share everything they need and desire... Whatever is needed and desired is allowed by love of life to materialize, not thwarted by fear of life in contempt for the self.
