All individually created ones in our present universe arise from a marriage of love and light. Love gives the creatures their precious original forms, and light fills them with the energy of life. The creatures would be merely love-light machines but for the deep and abiding presence within them of the originally creating One. The One stands ever as the Witness in all Creation, and vests itself in each created aspect. At the invisible and silent centre of each individual resides the Witness: none other than the all-creating One. It is in this way that all of the individual creatures in our universe are made in the image of the One. They assert their own presence in light, and feel their own presence in love. And so, as considered in the first discourse, they may say exactly as God may: I am love.
