The essential purpose of sex is the vital exchange of awareness among creatures in advancing their individual and collective evolution. Although a species may rely upon sex for physical reproduction, this is not its most essential purpose. ... Each created aspect reflects an aspect of God, so that the process of harmonizing and integrating all created aspects is inherent in the evolution of our universe as a whole. Universal evolution culminates in the realization of every created aspect in God, and God's complete realization of its vision for this universe. Therefore, all interaction among creatures is integral and essential to the evolution and culmination of our universe! ... Among humans, the most intimate form of interaction is sex. This is true whether sexual contact embodies love or fear, and whether it is deemed to be personal or impersonal. This is also true whether the sex is intentional or desultory, enjoyed or not enjoyed, or judged or not judged by its participants. Sex is inherently intimate because it embodies the exchange of consciousness.
